# Assess position progress

> Assess progress for an open position based on DTE rules.

## Assessment Results

- **making_progress**: Position moving favorably, continue holding
- **stalled**: No meaningful movement within DTE window
- **deteriorating**: Position moving against thesis

## Action Recommendations

Based on assessment and DTE tier:
- **hold**: Continue position as-is
- **reduce**: Reduce position size by specified percentage
- **exit**: Close entire position
- **review**: Manual review required

## Performance Target

<100ms response time.
